Open house to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Nefrosovet-RuMed's operation in the Kostroma region

An open house to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Nefrosovet-RuMed's operation in the Kostroma region was held at 11.00 a.m. on July the 26th, 2017, in Kostroma at Nefrosovet-RuMed’s Department of Nephrology and Hemodialysis.

The following persons participated in the event: O.L. Eryomina, Deputy Governor of the Kostroma region; E.V. Nechayev, Director of the Healthcare Department of the Kostroma region; V.E. Nikolaev, Director of the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of the Kostroma region; Kostroma and Nerekhta Metropolitan Ferapont, Head of Kostroma Diocese and Head of Kostroma Metropolia; the following leading healthcare specialists: Prof. E.M. Shilov, Dr.Med.Sc., Chief Guest Nephrologist of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, President of the Russian Nephrology Society; Prof. I.V. Molchanov, Dr.Med.Sc., Chief Guest Intensivist of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation; E.V. Shutov, Dr.Med.Sc., Vice President of Metropolitan Association of Nephrologists, professor of the Department of Nephrology and Hemodialysis at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Education (RMACE), Prof. V.M. Ermolenko, Dr.Med.Sc., Head of the Department of Nephrology and Hemodialysis at the RMACE; representatives of Nefrosovet; regional and local mass media.

A public-private partnership’s healthcare project is currently being implemented in the Kostroma region. It has resulted in three functioning Units of Nephrology and Hemodialysis opened by the investor, Nefrosovet-RuMed Group of Companies. All of them provide medical care to the population of the Kostroma region on a free-of-charge basis at the expense of compulsory medical insurance. The investor has also built a modern outpatient clinic in the Davydovsky microdistrict where everybody can find free-of-charge qualified medical care and experience the telemedicine technologies present in all their medical institutions.

Thanks to Nefrosovet-RuMed, nephrological care has achieved the best quality and structure in the region. Roman Djaparidze, Deputy Director of Nefrosovet-RuMed said, “We are ready to suggest or consider suggestions of the Regional Administration in the context of our joint use of this medical facility for other medical fields. At the moment, the facility’s potential is not fully required or used. We are ready and open to discuss...”
